One of the numerous Brabender solutions for 
accurate bulk ingredient batching is the loss-
in-weight batching method. This method can 
be applied with every Brabender Loss-in-
Weight Feeder due to special batch programs 
for the single and multi-feeder controllers from 
the Congrav® controller line.

The principle is based on sensing the hopper 
filling level by weight when starting the batch 
and automatic switch-off when reaching the 
target weight computed by the controller.

Digital high-resolution load cells, serial weight 
data transmission to the high-tech controller
and special modes of approaching the set-
point (target weight) ensure utmost accuracy.
