"Easy Change" Design

Interchangeable feed units: FlexWall®Plus "Easy Change"

.

The Technology

  • Replaceable feed units with inter-
    changeable single and twin screws

  • Feed unit lifts off incl. residual ingredient

  • Drive and paddle units remain in place

The Advantages

  • Cleaning advantages due to
    - comfortable external dry or wet cleaning
    - no cleaning when using exchange units

  • Cost savings due to
    - minimized downtime for cleaning

    - quick ingredient change-over
    - more recipes with less feeders

  • Ease of service and maintenance due
to free access to all interior components

* Theoretical values referring to a screw filling level and a motor speed of 100% each. Depending on the flow characteristics the screw filling level may decrease down to 50%, particularly if poorly flowing ingredients are fed. In gravimetric applications, i. e. as part of a loss-in-weight feeder, further feed rate reductions have to be taken into account because part of the upper motor speed range is required to balance bulk density variations. To identify the optimum feeder for your specific ingredient and required feed rate we recommend to make use of our automatic feeder selection program "FeederScout".
