Our Milestones from 1923 to Present Day
More than 60 years ago, company founder Carl Wilhelm Brabender prophesied: 'We will certainly last as long as the others!' Time would prove him right: In 2017, Kubota Brabender Technologie celebrated our company’s 60th anniversary. Join us on a journey back in time to 1957 and learn more about the history of our company to this day.
First appearance as "One Company" at the POWTECH trade fair for process, bulk solids and conveying technology in Nuremberg. The first joint product is presented: a further developed feeder from the NX series.
The Japanese Kubota Corporation acquires all shares in Brabender Technologie GmbH & Co. KG, which thus becomes a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kubota Holdings Europe B.V.
Ground-breaking ceremony for the new company buildings right next to the old ones in the presence of the Lord Mayor of Duisburg and the press. As of April 2017, the new corporate headquarters will house the entire company including the administration, production and test lab.
The company changes its status to 'Brabender Technologie GmbH & Co. KG'.
Opening of the new training center for customers and company personnel.
Further development of the feeder mounted control and speed control modules ISC-CM/FC to ISC-CM/FC plus.
Development of a line of hygienic design feeders in collaboration with leading food companies for hygienic applications in food and other regulated industries.
“Brabender Technologie Middle East“ is established in Dubai.
“Brabender Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd.“ is founded in China.
The third and largest production hall is built in Duisburg.
Enhancements of the FlexWall® Feeder product line to include FlexWall®Plus.
The field bus technology is introduced for gravimetric weigh-feeders. Development of the feeder mounted “intelligent“ control and speed control modules ISC-CM/FC.
Incorporation of the wholly owned subsidiary “Brabender Technologie Inc.“ in Toronto, Canada, for the North American market. Opening of a sales base in Southern Germany. Sales and service centers are opened in Brazil and China.
Brabender Technologie is approved and certified to the ISO 9001 / EN 29001 quality management system. An agency agreement is signed for South Africa. Introduction of the Brabender FlexWall® Feeder.
A first Far East agency agreement is signed for Japan.
A license agreement is signed with a Canadian partner company in Toronto for the North American market.
Development of fully digital loss-in-weight feeders and microprocessor based controllers.
An administration building is constructed. The sales network is extended all over Europe.
The first production hall with test lab is built. Manufacture of vibrating bin activators, weigh-belt feeders and vibrating screw feeders.
Brabender Technologie is founded with products such as vibrators, anti-static devices, silo switches, weatherometers, piling testers and our first feeders and bin activators.

EHEDG: Network for Hygienic Engineering & Design
The EHEDG actively provides European lawmakers with support and advice on the hygienic requirements for handling, preparing, processing and packaging food products. Our special hygienic design equipment plays an important role in the safe production of food. As a member, we obtain invaluable assistance from the European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group (EHEDG) allows us to enhance hygienic design. Practical guidance is provided on essential hygienic design engineering standards in accordance with national and international laws.
